Motor Vehicle Liability / Premises Liability / Property Damage
Our firm has litigated thousands of automobile liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist, premises liability and large loss fire and water property damage cases since its inception in 1949. We have defended business owners and homeowners in state and federal court in traditional ice/snow fall down claims to premises defect and engineering/code compliance cases. We frequently are retained to defend cases of catastrophic injuries and have been retained by insurers prior to litigation to assist in the investigation of losses, evaluation of claims, and preservation of evidence.
We provide full-service representation in the defense of Workers' Compensation claims for insurance companies and employers. Our attorneys represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators starting from a claim’s initiation, at hearings, during negotiation and before the Connecticut Workers Compensation Review Board, until the matter is concluded. We have significant knowledge of state workers’ compensation law and the Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission. We aim to provide the highest quality legal representation in workers' compensation matters and to vigorously defend our clients in accordance with client interests and goals.
